Park Sports Project FIT
Park Sports Project FIT is a programme that is designed to give children the opportunity to take part in fun activities and games that will not only be engaging and exciting but also help improve their fitness, physical literacy, health and wellbeing as well as many more health and social benefits.
We will be launching our FIT sessions at Broomhill Primary School and Glasgow Gaelic School. Both venues have excellent facilities which will allow us to create positive and exciting environments where children can thrive.
FIT sessions will take place on a Monday and Friday at Broomhill Primary School and we will have pre school FIT session running on a Saturday morning at Glasgow Gaelic School. Times will be dependant on age of children but typically run from 5pm - 5:50pm (P1 - P3) and 6pm - 6:50pm (P4 - P6). Our pre school FIT will run 10am - 10:50am.
Sessions will commence week beginning Monday 20th May and run till week ending Saturday 22nd June.
Our FIT programme has been designed to help support and develop children’s fundamental physical literacy skills such as running, throwing, catching, jumping, skipping, strength and so many other physical attributes. Not only will our sessions support and develop these key skills they will also encourage play and positive social benefits that come with group and class environments.
To register your young person for our first 4 week block of FIT, it would be greatly appreciated if you can complete the form below. Once completed you will be contacted with a sign up link to secure a place.
As this is a new programme we will only have a limited number of spaces at each of the sessions so places will be given out on a first come first served basis.
If you have any questions about our FIT programme please don’t hesitate to get in touch and one of the team will be happy to answer any questions.
